Litter Picking

Litter Picking sessions have been organised at specific sites around Falmouth. The aim is to have a litter pick in a different place around Falmouth each month.

April 2023

Falmouth Rotary did a litter pick around Trescobeas Park on Friday 21st April. 7 Rotarians volunteered. We filled 5 heavy duty black bags with general waste, 4 bags with metal and plastic, and 2 boxes with glass. We also found 2 traffic cones, a body board, a steel oven inner and a computer monitor!

April 2022

Another successful litter pick took place on 4th April.

March 2022

This litter pick around Pendennis Castle and the Point collected 6 bags of litter and a disused bicycle!

February 2022

The collection near Tregoniggie Woods filled 9 bags of litter in 2 hours.
