About us

Chris Cox joined the Rotary Club of Forest of Blean in 1979 and served as President for the first time in 1994/5. He is proud to have supported Rotary International’s PolioPlus/EndPolioNow campaign since its beginning in 1985 as well as many other charities, local, national and international, through the work of the club. His nominated charity for this year is Catching Lives, a Canterbury charity supporting the homeless. He has been married to Pamela for 56 years, and they have a son and daughter and five grandchildren. His lifelong hobby is birdwatching and bird ringing, and he enjoys watching sport, especially Kent cricket and Formula 1 motor racing. He also serves as Churchwarden for St Bartholomew’s Church Waltham.
