PROGRAMME FOR 2026-27
At the weekly meeting of Rotary members on Monday, at Belper Community Hall, Rotary President Elect Ann Walker shared the agreed programme for the coming Rotary year which starts on July 1st. Ann said, “The year ahead gives us a valuable chance to build on all that has already been achieved. We have an opportunity to strengthen our friendships and continue making a positive difference in Belper, Duffield and the surrounding area.”
Belper and Duffield Rotary will work within four broad headings:
Community & Environment – which includes supporting those living with cancer, dementia and stroke along with continued work in Belper Cemetery.
International and Foundation – which includes the Christmas Shoebox Appeal, responding to disasters worldwide and supporting Polio eradication in the world.
Membership & Engagement – which includes publicity and marketing, members welfare and developing an online presence.
