Young Heroes Celebration . We will not be having our usual evening meeting tonight as we will be holding our annual Young Heroes Celebration event at Shottle Hall Hotel from 12noon. Pauline Latham will be presenting the awards.

Mon 30th September 2024 Monthly Social Meeting

This is our social meeting on 5th Monday of the month. This is to be held at The Greyhound Inn on Whitemoor Lane, Belper. It will start at 7pm with menu choices to be made on the night.

Thu 26th September 2024 Memory Cafe

We will be having our normal Memory Cafe meeting at Belper Baptist Church. Volunteers are always welcome.

Wed 25th September 2024 Belper Cemetery

We will be working in the oldest parts of the cemetery again today. Volunteers welcome of course.

We will not be having a regular meeting tonight, instead we have hired the Ritz Cinema and have donated most of the tickets to local charities.

To speak at today's meeting President John has invited his brother in law, Dan Leedell to talk to us about his work as an animal nutritionist specialising in milk production.

One of our newer members, Helen Lowe, will entertain us this evening with a talk about her life and her job etc.

Mon 26th August 2024 Tour of Belper Mills and Meal at Elaichi

Tonight we are having a guided tour of the historic Belper Mills, starting 5.30pm & lasting between 75 and 90 minutes. Cost £6 per person. Following the tour we will have a meal at Elaichi, Bridge St. No pre-booking of menu but numbers needed for both.

Mon 19th August 2024 - Talk on Rotary Foundation

This evening Paul Taylor will be talking to us about the work of Rotary Foundation, how we can donate towards it and how the club can benefit from it with grants etc., Following Paul's talk, there will be a Business / Council meeting from 8pm.

We have been invited by Rotary Club of Amber Valley to join them at The Village Inn, Marehay, Ripley on the occasion of the visit by the District Governor, Philip Wilbourn. It would be great to see a really good turnout by club members.
