About us
WHO ARE WE?
We are Hitchin Priory Rotary Club, one of three Rotary clubs in Hitchin, and part of a Rotary district covering much of Herts, Beds and Bucks. We currently have 32 men and women members from a wide variety of backgrounds; some retired and some still working.
Fundraising and distribution organised by members of the Club is managed by and on behalf of our charity, Rotary Club of Hitchin Priory Trust Fund - Registration Number 1026871.Our principal aim is to provide practical and financial support to local, national and global charitable organisations and endeavours. We do this through a range of small and large events; some on a regular basis and some as one-off activities, and we get involved with other organisations, and other Rotary Clubs, by helping with their various activities.
We have fun with what we do: with our fund-raising and support events; with regular dinner meetings, sometimes with a speaker; we enjoy various social activities such as theatre and concert trips, walks, golf, croquet etc; and we enjoy the fellowship our club provides.
