Charter night dinner

We held our 93^rd Charter Anniversary Dinner at Healing Manor.  Guests included  Assistant District Governor (Christine) and representatives from four other clubs. 

During the meal, which was very pleasant, there were the usual greetings, toasts and speeches. 

Our after dinner entertainer was 'The Amazing Anthony.' He has appeared on television and his routine includes mind reading, magic tricks, tarot cards and maybe murder. He started with ..."Choose a card, but do not tell me", and of course it was the (chosen one) in this case five of spades. How he did this I do not know, of course it's magic.

There were two other 'tricks' with pre-chosen members of the audience, (who readily participated) too complicated to recount. But again, by the end we were saying how did he do that? Magic.
