Sant at Morrisons December 23

Rotary Collections

Rotary Santa at Morrisons

Members of North Fylde Rotary spent time each afternoon for a week prior to Christmas collecting money for local causes. Each afternoon they were fortunate to be joined by Santa himself and his sleigh along with two of his Elves.

Shoppers, especially those who had young families with them were delighted and many took advantage of the presence of Santa   to allow their children to sit on the sleigh with him and of course make use of their mobile phones to make a record of the occasion.

The members of the public were extremely in support of Santa and their contributions amounted to approximately £900 all of which will go to local charities.

Thanks are due to all these generous contributors and of course a big thank you to Morrisons who not only facilitated the collection, but also looked after the sleigh of Important Visitor and made it came to no harm.
