Tree of Light 2023

December 3rd 2023

The Tree of Light again proved its importance to many people in Princes Risborough when a large crowd attended the Dedication Ceremony on 3rd December. The Tree of Light, organised by Princes Risborough Rotary Club and Rennie Grove Peace Hospice, started 15 years ago, and has raised over £80,000.

The Ceremony was led by Rev David Williams and the Town Mayor, Andy Ball, was also in attendance. The Tree of Light provides an opportunity to remember loved ones by dedicating a light on the Tree, and all dedications are listed on Dedication Boards located close to the Tree.

Donations are shared equally between Rennie Grove Peace Hospice and the Rotary Club, with the Rotary Club using the funds raised to support local charities and other worthwhile causes.
