Charity quiz night

A very enjoyable evening at St Francis church hall that raised £1200 for local charities. A cheque for £1000 was presented to Space, a charity that supports neurodivergent children and their families.


A charity quiz night in aid of Space,

a WGC charity supporting families with autistic and neurodiverse children

and other Rotary-supported charities such as the WGC Food Bank

 

Saturday 20th Jan 2023 6.30 for 7.00pm prompt start

Tables of up to 8, £12.50 per person including a fish, chicken or haloumi supper.

Simple bar - beer, wine, soft drinks

Breakfast branch meeting in a previous venue.

The Breakfast Branch is currently meeting on Zoom from 8.30-9.30 on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays each month. Come and join us to discuss local issues, get involved in projects and decide on grants to international charities.

The EVAC team deals with local and national matters including support for local environmental and other projects, charities and individuals. The focus is currently on supporting small local charities.

The International Committee deals with donations to international charities and with Rotary Foundation matters, including Rotary grants and matched funding.

The Youth Service Committee organises youth competition heats run by the club, currently Young Chef and Youth Speaks, and works with three other local clubs through Mid Herts Rotary to promote a wider range of youth activities.
