Tarporley Carnival 2024

Not long to go - Saturday 13th July - put it in your diary now!

It's coming ... Carnival 2024 is on Saturday 13th July!

Remember last year's Carnival?  Did you dance in the rain, or make a run for home?

Last year brought us sun, then rain (and then a bit more sun followed by more rain, thunder, lightning and sunshine again). Those who braved the initial downpour (perhaps passing their time in the Prosecco tent?) were rewarded with a standout performance from our headline act, The Counterfeit Beatles - and the audience made sure that they made the most of the weather as you can see in this picture!

With a great roster of musical entertainment, fairground rides, local organisations and traders, food and drink for every taste there is something for everybody, and in todays budget conscious times free admission for under 16's Tarporley Carnival is a great value family day out, whatever your age!

All of the surplus raised after paying our costs goes to the Trust Fund of Tarporley and District Rotary Club, which in turn makes substantial donations to charities and other organisations.

Whilst we at Rotary plan and organise the event (including the boring but necessary stuff that keeps everybody safe), it could not happen without all the volunteers who step in on the day, especially members of the Tarporley 41 Club, Tarporley Inner Wheel Club, the Friends of Rotary and members of the public who offered to lend us a few hours of their time.

If you would like to know more about us, or to offer your help for this years Carnival (or any of the other events that we organise), then please do email enquiries@tarporleyrotary.org.uk or speak to any Rotary member.

This years Carnival will be on Saturday 13th July 2024. See you there!

Keep your eye on this page, we'll be updating it with more info on our programme, performers and a surprise or two as well!
