Time to welcome our new President

Each year around 1st July, Rotary clubs all over the world - 1.2 million of them - appoint a new President.

This year it's the turn of Brian Boyd who takes over the Furness club from Fred Winkfield (left in photo).

Brian says he is proud to be President of such a vibrant club and looks forward to maintaining all the good work that members put in to help people at home and Internationally.

This is a special year for Rotary as International President Gordon Mcinally is from the UK.  He was educated at the Royal High School in Edinburgh and at the University of Dundee, where he earned his graduate degree in dental surgery.

Gordon is a member of the Rotary Club of South Queensferry.
