Whilst the ceremony of the change of presidents and vice-presidents would ordinarily take place on Monday 1st July, under the reorganisation which commences on that day we shall not be meeting then. Therefore It was decided to hold the formal change-over on the last Monday of the Rotary year which is 24th June whilst recognising that Sue Baldock will remain our President until midnight on Sunday 30th June when Marlene Butler becomes her successor.
We have undertaken a complete review of our procedures and certain changes are being brought in to make our club more efficient and more flexible. For instance on the first Monday of each month we shall not have a lunchtime meeting but instead we may have an evening meeting commencing at 6pm on the Wed. of that week possibly followed by a meal, or some other arrangement may be made. We hope that this change will attract working people to attend when a lunchtime is not possible for them. Please check 'Future Events' for updated information.
