On Wednesday 30th January, owner of Bow Wows of Stroud, Laura Stewart, gave us "Tails of the Unexpected", her journey from a 9.00-5.00 job to successful entrepreneur and owner of a professional dog walking and boarding business.
Beating setbacks, adversity and illness, Laura now has the career we all dream of - her "office" is our beautiful Gloucestershire countryside and she spoke with love and warmth about her four legged friends and the relationship she builds not only with them but with their owners too - becoming part of their family!
Laura also spoke about therapy dogs and how they bring happiness and a sense of purpose to those in hospices and hospitals.
Laura's presentation was both heartwarming and motivational and greatly appreciated by our Club members.
