Today's speaker was Major Mitch Pegg of the Royal Anglian Army Reserve.

After serving over 35 years in the regular army, Major Mitch Pegg is now part of the infantry reserve unit based at Westward Ho, where his role is to influence local people and improve recruitment.  He gave a slide show of recent visits by local dignitories and explained some of the issues affecting recruitment of persons between the ages of 18-50.  The army expects high standards of recruits who must cross many hurdles to be successful.
