On Sunday 18th November 2018, The Rotary Clubs of Godalming organised the second successful Cyclathon in aid of the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and the Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance at the Snap Fitness gym in Godalming. 17 teams took part with 65 riding.

The Rotary clubs of Godalming would like to thank all the teams that took part and the many individuals who made donations to these two very worthy causes. In particular we would like to thank Peter Niblett and Roberto Nieman from Snap Fitness for their generous support and allowing us to take over part of their gym and static bikes for the day.

The winners of our competitions were as follows:
• Adult (10 teams) - Jo Anderson.
• Family (2 teams) - Grillo/Lewis.
• 60+ (2 teams) – Woolsack Rotary club.
• Charity (3 teams) – Skillway.

The Mayor of Godalming, Cllr Nick Williams attended, to provide support to the riders along with the many volunteers and family members who came along to encourage the teams.

We believe we have raised a significant sum for the Charities and will be arranging a hand over ceremony before Christmas.
