The conference is on Saturday 17/3/18 - registration from 9 am, conference starts at 10.00 am and it concludes at 5pm. Coffee and bacon butties on arrival (vegetarian option), buffet lunch, varied programme of speakers.

Friday night and/or Saturday night are available for booking through the hotel at the special rate of £175 in total for 2 people sharing 1 room and £125 for single occupancy per night - this includes dinner, bed and breakfast and the following:

On Friday night there will be a Cumbria themed dinner and  evening.
On Saturday night there will be dinner followed by entertainment by the Bluebells- if numbers booked are sufficient.


Anyone not resident in the hotel can join us for dinner on Friday and/or Saturday at a cost of £30 per person per evening.

The hotel initially held a number of rooms for us at £150 –we expect that these will have all been allocated by 12/8/17. Thank you for your support for early bookings.

Confirmed speakers are James Martin (formerly the "Rotary Blogger"), Judith Diment (PolioPlus); Ken Robertshaw (Rotary Peace Scholars); Susanne Rea (Founder of The Worlds’ Greatest Meal); and Marcus Hawthorn (North West Area Co-ordinator, Royal British Legion).
