Our Rotary district, which includes the city of Manchester and surrounding areas, established the Trust to provide practical help to victims and families of those killed, injured or affected by the attack.

This may include providing funds for transport, respite weekends, tutoring or supporting those suffering from mental trauma.

Trustee and Rotarian Stan Bowes commented, “We felt, as a district, that we must open this fund in response to the number Rotary clubs and individual Rotarians throughout the country who asked how they could help by using Rotary’s unique networking abilities, linked to the knowledge that no money would be wasted in administration costs.”

The Trustees are now considering the future work of the Trust and while some applications are still being processed, no new applications will be considered.
