NEW FOOTBALL STADIUM FOR FOREST GREEN ROVERS
Founded in 1889.
David gave a very interesting talk about the proposed plans for a sports stadium at junction 13 on the M5 on the area that was Tinkley Farm.
The plans are very innovative with many opportunities for other teams to train and use the facilities.
There are also plans for a green business park inspired by Ecotricity, built from recycled materials.
North of the motorway a nature reserve is planned, this will be a peaceful place with walks alongside the canal.
West of Stonehouse there are plans for a housing development with fitness and medical facilities.
We were pleased to thank David for a very interesting and informative talk.
