CLIVE DALE
Our speaker, an established children's writer and
story teller, held our attention with readings from some of his works, notably
Clive the Magic Camel, leaving us in no doubt of the skill and charisma he had
developed as a hobby since hearing it as a yougster.
Born in Shrewsbury and with a subsequent welsh childhood, Clive had a successful professional career in IT Computing around the UK over forty years. In this time he spent much of his spare time with children and youth in organisations, notably the Boys' Brigade.
In retirement and now living locally he visits schools , addresses assemblies, toddler groups and Christian outreach events, the while preparing more Books.
