Curling Charlie Proctor Broom (Peak

Jim Gardner with Alasdair Mackie and the Charlie Proctor Broom

Charlie Proctor Broom
A couple of weeks ago the annual curling competition was played at the Peak, after a tight game Alasdair Mackie's team came through to win against Jim Gadners team.
The Charlie Procter Broom is a curling brush left by the Canadian curler of that name following a Rotary Canadian curling tour of Scotland more than 15 years ago. Each year two teams from the Club play a match to define the custody of the broom for the next year.
