If you have heard about Rotary. Our Club 'The Rotary Club of Stafford Knot meets every Thursday morning at Staffordshire University. Its an opportunity to have a good breakfast, sit down and talk to members with shared interests; update each other about what is going on in the club, with the various projects and plan ahead for the next fund rasing or charity event.
Historically the organisation was male orientated for professional business men. It changed probably about 20 years ago, when ladies were openly welcomed into the organisation. We have about a 50/50 split of men and women. Most are either retired or still working across a wide sector of society.r age range is from mid 40's to late 70's, but we are all young at heart. We think it is more important to have something to offer, and want to give back to society, than just being a 'professional'.
We all have busy lives, but get great enjoyment out of the charity work we give to our local and international community.
If you want to learn more, do give one of a call or email the secretary and come and share breakfast with us. See what you ahve to offer?
