Ellie Banks from Maidenhill School competes in the District Semifinal.
Ellie Banks from Maidenhill School competed in the District semi-final of the Young Chef competition. She produced another superb meal, really nicely presented.
Her desert was to die for!! And the presentation - just look at the photos below.
The menu she selected and prepared was:
- Starter - Risotto with a parmesan crisp and dressed rocket
- Main - Spinach and ricotta stuffed chicken served with ratatouille
- Desert - Vanilla panna cotta and raspberry layered mouse

The semi-final took place at Marlwood School, Vattingstone Lane, Alveston, http://www.marlwood.com Ellie is seen here being presented with her prize from President Gill after winning the local heat at Maidenhill.
