Dear All

Those of you who were not at the meeting on the 10th missed an informative and interesting talk by Niru Vakharia about the history of Rotary in India.When someone like Niru speaks about his family involvement with Rotary over the years, it brings it home as to the internationalism of Rotary. India has 125,000 Rotarians which despite its vast population is still remarkable. As usual Bill Baker`s vote of thanks was of the highest calibre.

Next Thursday we have a speaker Norman Taylor who is known to me for many years and he will be speaking on Fugitives. He is a fellow solicitor and I would urge as big a turnout as possible.

Over the next few weeks we have some interesting speakers on such diverse topics as Calligraphy, Martin House Hospice and Cuba. If there is enough support any of these meetings could be open to our wives/partners .
