Carol Bradley St. Mary's Hospice

Carol Bradley is the Deciding Right facilitator for Furness and South Lakes based at St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston.


Carol is a Registered General Nurse who trained at Kings College Hospital, London. Having worked for five years in a variety of settings including General Surgery, A&E and Stroke Rehabilitation, her interest in end of life care started during her time working in Intensive Care at Warwick Hospital.

Whilst working in the ICU she completed her BSc in Nursing Practice at Coventry University writing her dissertation on End of Life Decision-Making. From this work she established and co-led a multidisciplinary Morbidity and Mortality Group to review /reflect on the deaths of patients on the unit in order to improve end of life care.
