A report on an Autumn visit to the garden

11.01.12 MENCAP SENSORY GARDEN

A REPORT.

Past Presidents Som Roy and Stuart Falconer have recently visited the Sensory Garden. Here is thier report of that visit.

It looks to be in good condition if a bit wintery. The area planted with herbs looks well established and needed only a general weeding and trim. The other beds were tidied up with the annual plants being removed.

100 daffodils bulbs were planted in order to provide  some colour in the Spring.

The paint on the wooden surface of the raised beds is looking fine.

The ornamental pond and fountain will probably need a rethink in the Spring when we will be again revisiitng the garden.

The carers reported that the residents are delighted with the garden.
