Goals:
Raise awareness of the work done by Rotary in the local community and internationally.
Increase the membership of the club.
Improve mentoring of new members
Activities:
Greater publicity through social media and the local press. This will include the distribution of the Rotary magazine and Forres Rotary leaflet within the local area.
Raising awareness of how Rotary has changed in the last 65 years through an article in the local press and a possible display in a venue in Forres.
Making people aware of the different types of membership available e.g. Associate Membership and Corporate Membership.
To provide a formal mentoring programme for new members. To ensure that new members feel welcome and have a role.
To allow for people who are unwilling or unable to attend a weekly meeting at lunchtime, we will arrange a monthly evening meeting (probably after a Council meeting), to update members in a less formal setting.
Formalise and increase the number of friends of Rotary we can count on for help with events.
Support the club through management of speaker list, club inventory etc.
