This is a Local Group and District competition that has been entered many times by local secondary schools. It is highly popular involving teams at different Key Stages (ages 13-18).
The competition encourages young people to see design and technology as attractive and challenging, by providing opportunities for them to take part in devising and building a solution to a technology 'teaser', as part of a small team, and often in competition with others at the same time and place.
A local Rotary club arranges the venue and provides the tools, materials and any prizes and certificates. Costs are shared by participating clubs and local sponsors
