DetailsWelcome to Strood Rotary
The Rotary Club of Strood was formed in 1974. We are a group of men and women with a desire to contribute to society and who have fun along the way.
Our Club members' ages range from the thirties to the eighties, and we are always looking to extend a warm welcome to all. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings at the Bridgewood Manor Hotel in Walderslade Woods and enjoy a relaxed meal, guest speakers and entertainment as well as discussion planning our projects or activities. On 2nd and 4th Thursdays we gather at a pub or restaurant, purely for a social.
We have a contact club at Taverny-Beauchamp-Francoville on the outskirts of Paris with whom we enjoy an annual get-together and an informal contact with a club in Blouberg, Cape Town, South Africa.
We fund raise through various activities including Pig Racing, festivals and running beer tents and support local and international projects and causes.
