About us

WHO ARE WE?

We are Hitchin Priory Rotary Club, one of four Rotary clubs in Hitchin, and part of a Rotary district covering much of Herts, Beds and Bucks.  We currently have about 40 men and women members from a wide variety of backgrounds; some retired and some still working.

Our principal aim is to provide practical and financial support to local, national and global charitable organisations and endeavours.  We do this through a range of small and large events; some on a regular basis and some as one-off activities, and we get involved with other organisations, and other Rotary Clubs, by helping with their various activities.

We have fun with what we do: with our fund-raising and support events; with regular dinner meetings, sometimes with a speaker; we enjoy various social activities such as theatre and concert trips, walks, golf, croquet etc; and we enjoy the fellowship our club provides.

Find out more about us under What we do and  Programme above.  And if you would like to find out more about us, either with a view to possibly joining Rotary or otherwise getting involved in what we do, you can telephone John Hartshorne on 01462 677047 for a chat, or click enquiries@hitchinprioryrotaryclub.org to submit your enquiry by email.
