About us

Rotary Lytham Welcomes You!

Welcome to Rotary Lytham's website. Formed over 76 years ago, Rotary Lytham is on a mission to help improve the lives of those in our community, locally, nationally and worldwide.

In recent years we have contributed over £15,000 to local, national and international causes in addition to collaborating with Lowther Pavilion and Lytham Hall to raise £840 and £8,000 for them respectively.

We have given £1,500 to Rotary’s own Charity - Rotary Foundation UK, which supports 'End Polio Now' and provides grants for over 1,000 projects worldwide every year.

So far we have raised over £20,000 for End Polio Now and given seven Shelter-boxes to help emergency aid.

2022 We funded and packed 50,000 meals at St Bedes Catholic High School for the charity Rise Against Hunger.

We have raised and donated thousands of pounds to local charities including Trinity Hospice and Brian House, Just Good Friends, North West Air Ambulance and Blood Bikes.

Last year we were selected as charity partners by Cuffe and Taylor for The Lytham Festival 2023 on Friday 30th June when Sting performed supported by Blondie and Keiser Chiefs.

We get involved with local schools. We run a Technical tournament every year involving local schools within the Fylde area. We have sponsored local schools with a chess tournament.

We get together twice a month over lunch, with inspirational speakers, and sharing of ideas, much banter, and we enjoy social events — with and without partners — including bowls, golf, theatre visits, days out and much, much more.

New to the area and wanting to make new friends? We would love to welcome you!

Planning for retirement and a new way of life? Why not take a look at what we have to offer?

Can't manage a lunch time meeting? Not to worry, take a look at our Totally Rotary FY8 Satellite Group page. They meet once a month in an evening.

Every year Rotary helps thousands of young people achieve their dreams. Together, we inspire young people to showcase their talents, take part in community projects and unlock their potential through our youth competitions and programmes.

Get involved with Rotary Lytham, People of action, helping the local community.
