About us

The Queen's Award for Voluntary Services, the equivalent of an MBE, was awarded to Church & Oswaldtwistle Rotary.

Our membership consists of community-minded men and women, some in full-time work, some early retirees, and students. We have several local projects active throughout the year. We also hold regular meetings with our more elderly residents, when friendship and entertainment are provided.

To quote the late Sir Clem Renouf, a past President of Rotary International: “Rotary takes ordinary men and women and gives them extraordinary opportunities to do more with their lives than they ever dreamed possible.”

Feel free to contact our Secretary, Ian McTurk, if you would like to discuss this further.
