Welwyn Garden City is famous for its greenery, but on Sunday, 7th June, you have the exclusive opportunity to step behind the garden gates. The Rotary Club of Welwyn Garden City is proud to host its annual Open Gardens event, inviting the community to explore five stunning local landscapes between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Whether you are looking for horticultural inspiration or simply a delightful Sunday stroll, this event offers something for everyone while raising vital funds for local charities.
This year's trail features five unique gardens, each offering a different perspective on our beautiful Garden City:
11 Barleycroft Road
44 Barleycroft Road (Our primary card-payment entry point)

111 Handside Lane – The heart of the event!
After touring the gardens, join us at 111 Handside Lane for a classic afternoon treat.
We will be serving homemade cakes and tea, alongside a variety of stalls and a raffle. It is the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and discuss your favourite garden finds with fellow neighbours.
Your attendance directly impacts our community. All proceeds from the day will be donated to:
