Santa in 2024

We're hoping to be out and about with Santa again in 2024.

It’s the time of year when our thoughts turn towards our time with Santa.

Since 2011 we have been privileged to accompany Santa as he travels around Milton Keynes in December and once again we’re delighted to have been asked by Santa if we can help him visit some parts of Milton Keynes.

We have made a list and checked it twice and are pleased to announce this years routes for our float.

We will be out four times in all: Sunday 1st (West Bletchley), Sunday 8th (Bletchley Poets), Sunday 15th (Newton Leys) and Sunday 22nd (Saints Estate and Far Bletchley)

We always like to support local charity with our tours and this year we have chosen to raise money for Smile Train who help children around the world who are born with  a clefts, and Unity MK (formally The Winter Night Shelter MK), now a year round charity, helping people at their point of crisis, alongside their long standing temporary accommodation.

For more details of our routes, see each event.

We won't be knocking on doors on the night, instead we are asking you to listen out for us and come out to see us and donate to support our chosen charities. We’ll be using a tracker too, more details about that are on our "Santa Visit" page.Although we’ve found this can be a bit temperamental, so suggest not relying on it too much!

We will carry buckets to collect cash if people have it and we will also have credit card readers to take payment on the night and our QR code so you can donate that way too.

If you prefer, you can also donate online, which can be done before and after our visits, as well as when we are in the area. Online donations are a great way of supporting The Henry Allen Trust and Winter Night Shelter MK, even if you can’t come and see us when we’re out and about with Santa. We hope you will want to support this great charities, and you can do this via Paypal

As our visits are weather permitting and can be affected by other things outside of our control, there is always the chance that we might need to cancel at short notice, or perhaps to postpone to a different date. For this reason we ask you not to promise any Santa fans that you know that we will be coming.

If we do have to cancel, then we will update on the day, here on the website and also on our Facebook page.

We're sorry, but we can't visit other areas we've not mentioned, or add extra roads to the planned routes. There are lots of logistical reasons for this. Of course, you can always jump in your car and wait for us along the published routes.

We will also keep our Facebook page up to date with our plans.

Happy Christmas

All at MK Watling Rotary
