Since 1976 our club has been twinned with the Rotary Club of Menen, Belgium. A party of Dunstable Rotarians and wives visited Menen in January and they came to us on 24th April on their way to visit York and the Lake District. During this club lunch our International Chairman, John Bryant, was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship in recognition of his commitment to the twinning process not only with Belgium but with Bourgoin- Jallieu, France, over a number of years.
A Paul Harris Fellowship is awarded to
persons or groups who give 100% commitment to the community, or in this case,
overseas.
On Saturday 26th May,between 10.00-14.00, Dunstable Rotary club will be holding a Town Centre Tin Shake for Air Ambulance and other charities. The very popular School Uniform Stall will also be there so come along and give us your support and learn about Rotary.
