Safeguarding children and adults at risk of abuse or neglect is everyone’s

responsibility.

If you believe a child, young person, vulnerable adult or any other individual is at immediate risk of harm, you should contact the police by dialling 999.

Cheshire

If you have concerns about a child’s welfare, or feel that they may be being abused or neglected, please call the Integrated Access and Referral Team (I-ART) or the Emergency Duty Team (EDT) for help and advice.

Adult Abuse: You can contact Social Services for advice, or you can contact the Police directly if you think that a crime has been committed. We will then make sure that the right people investigate the abuse and make sure that the vulnerable adult is safe.

If you are concerned that an older person is being abused you can also contact the Action on Elder Abuse support line on 0808 808 8141 or Age Connects North East Wales on 08450 549969.

Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

Knowsley CouncilThe MASH provides a ‘first point of contact’ for Early Help and Children’s Social Care (CSC) enabling members of the public and professionals to raise concerns about the safety and welfare of Children. This may include Children identified as potentially being in need of support or as being at risk of suffering abuse.

Operates between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday and can be contacted via email (Knowsleymash@knowsley.gov.uk) or by dialling 0151 443 2600 at anytime. Members of the public should always make contact by telephone.

Contact the emergency duty team on 0151 934 3555 for urgent advice outside of office hours (from 5.30pm Mon to Thurs, and 4pm Friday and weekends). If you think a child is in immediate danger call for police assistance.

Shropshire

In an emergency dial 999, but for other calls to the police please ring 101.

If you think a child or young person is being harmed or is at risk of being harmed you must contact Children's Services and tell them your concerns.  Alternatively, it might be you that's being harmed. Don't delay, please contact us straight away - we're here to help you.

Wrexham

Tell us as soon as possible if you’re concerned that a child is at risk of being harmed or neglected. You can do this by calling the Children’s Single Point of Access (SPoA) on 01978 292039 during normal office hours.

Our Emergency Duty Team can be contacted on 0345 053 3116 during out of hours (before 8:30am and after 5pm Monday - Thursday, and before 8:30am and after 4:30pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays).

There is no contact number given for reporting Adult abuse in Wrexham.

If a Child or Adult is in immediate danger, you should call the police immediately on 999.
