Social media offers a two-way form of communication and is a great tool for connecting people with the Rotary brand. This policy defines how social media is used by Rotary, its members and its staff. It applies to the aforementioned groups as well as members of the public.
The following are the only official social media pages for Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland:
These pages are managed by the Rotary Support Centre Communications department and are used to share the latest local, national and international Rotary news and stories of interest.
We encourage comments, posts, shares and likes and want this page to be inspiring, educational and entertaining where interaction and sharing of ideas is encouraged.
We kindly ask that visitors to our pages follow our page guidelines:
Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland reserves the right to delete posts and comments which violate these principles and will block users who violate these principles once more after a warning.
Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland cannot be held responsible for comments and posts made by other members or visitors to this page.
If you submit a query directly through these social networks, we will endeavor to respond as soon as possible or pass on your details to a relevant member of Support Centre Staff or, where appropriate, Rotary member. We are only able to respond to messages written in English.
Due to data protection we are unable to share the personal contact information of Rotary members in Great Britain and Ireland. They have not given consent for their details to be used by third parties for the purpose of circularisation.
If you are seeking funding or financial assistance, you will need to contact your local Rotary club. Clubs are autonomous so have control over which projects, causes and activities they support financially or otherwise. Funding is not available from the Rotary Support Centre staff, who manage this page. To find your local Rotary club in Great Britain and Ireland visit https://www.rotarygbi.org/club-finder/.
