DIAMOND JUBILEE WALK

Our 11th Jubilee Walk. A circular walk of approximately 10 miles, starting and finishing in Llangollen. An opportunity to raise funds for a charity of your choice or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful Vale of Llangollen.


This walk, first held in 2002 to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, is a chance for you to raise funds for your favourite charity or simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful Vale of Llangollen.

The circular walk of approximately 10 miles, starting and finishing in Llangollen, is set in one of the most scenic parts of Wales. It encompasses beautiful views of the Dee Valley, the Llangollen Canal, including the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, the Vale of Llangollen steam railway, the ancient castle of Castell Dinas Bran and is set against the spectacular backdrops of the Berwyn Mountains and the beautiful Eglwyseg Escarpment.
