Rotary Wessex Sports Competitions

Rotary Wessex has an active sporting programme which operates throughout the District on an annual basis. Competitions are held between clubs on a knock-out basis - usually within local areas. Winners of the local events then take on their peers within the District.

Events are held in the following sports and are open to all clubs in the District:

• Golf - both team and individual competitions throughout the year, contact is Derek Birch at the Hythe and Waterside club. There is also a one-off individual competition at the District Conference each year, details via the conference website

• Boules - a team knockout competition of 6 players held thoughout the Rotary year. Contact is Brian Waller.

• Snooker - both a pairs and a team (6 players) knockout competition held throughout the year - contact is Eddie Cheshire

• Darts - a team knockout competition of 6 players held thoughout the Rotary year. Contact TBA

• Skittles - a team knockout competition of 6 players held thoughout the Rotary year. Contact is George Buckley
