Young Musician Competition Cluster Final, 2026

The Cluster final of Young Musician was held at King Edward VI College in Stourbridge. The standard of both vocalists and instrumentalists was extremely high and the judges had a very, very hard task. 

In the vocalist category our District's entry, Grace Hillis, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wellingborough, put in a virtually perfect performance and won the judges acclaim winning first place.

Grace will now progress to the National Finals which will be held at The Grange School in Hartford, Cheshire on April 25th. We wish her every success and hope she also enjoys the experience.

Our District also had an entry in the instrumentalist category. Nicola Chotrani (sponsored by the Rotary Club of Melton Mowbray) on the violin performed brilliantly. However, while it was a very close thing she was unfortunately not successful in getting through to the National Finals.
