District Treekly Challenge - March 2026

Open to Rotarians, friends, family, & colleagues, but each team must be partnered to a District based club. Teams of up to 5.

The Rotary District challenge 2026 is an opportunity to get fit, plant trees, enjoy friendly competition, help reduce your club’s and/or your personal footprint and for winners the possibility of a donation to your charity account.

Take 5000 steps a day and make a positive impact on the environment! For each day in March that you log 5000 steps on the Treekly app, a mangrove tree will be planted, with up to 30 trees planted in a month by each team member. Rotary in Great Britain & Ireland is partnered with Treekly.

The challenge is open to Rotarians, friends, family, & colleagues, but each team must be partnered to a District based club.  Teams of up to 5.  You will log your daily steps using the Treekly app on your mobile device/smartwatch.

Entry fee is just £20 per person for the competition month of March, and you'll enjoy free access to the Treekly application afterwards! If you are already a member of Treekly, these trees will be extra to your normal free or paid subscription.  Weekly league positions will be published.

Rotary and Treekly

back Treekly is an app which turns “footsteps into forests”. Mangrove trees are planted as a reward for users who adopt and maintain a daily walking habit of 5000 steps. Good for your health. Good for our planet.
