Race Night
A charity fund-raising Race Night in conjunction with the Lutterworth Golf Club.
Members of our Rotary Club organised an evening of filmed horse racing in conjunction with the Lutterworth Golf Club on 18th October 2025. This proved to be an excellent social event for the 100 punters who became animated with the exciting commentaries and urging on their chosen horse to cross the line in a winning position (or groaning loudly when their chosen horse fell behind in the last furlong). The main objective was to raise funds for the Rainbows Children's Hospice, a charity being supported by the golf club captains and also the designated charity for our Club's major fundraising event. Over £1000 was raised to be distributed to the Rainbows Hospice and Rotary charities.
