St Edwards Beavers Reponding
Our President Elect and her daughter attended a meeting at the St Edwards Beavers and spoke to them about wildlife in their garden. The children coloured in some pictures of frogs and then we demonstrated how they could make a mini pond in their garden to help frogs, birds, hedgehogs and pollinators. We passed around photographs of our own pond, tadpoles, froglets and frogs which the children loved. The children all went home with a pot, some weed and a leaflet to make their own mini pond in their garden. Fingers crossed we will have 14 new little ponds around Kettering!
