Lincoln Community Larder provides an essential service to the communities in Lincoln and its surrounding areas. It was was first set up in 1989 by Mary Eckmyre from her own front room before it moved to its current base on Rosemary Lane and is staffed by 53 dedicated volunteers who deliver just over 8,000 parcels a week.

The Rotary Club of Lindum Lincoln has been supporting Lincoln Community Larder for many years with supermarket collections, donations, and regular volunteer help. A few years ago the Club helped supply and fit new shelving, with one member donating a fridge.

As part of our continued support the Rotary Club of Lindum Lincoln helped refurbish their rented premises, including cleaning, redecorating, re-installing the shelving, and help with restocking.
