Waitrose Raffle

The annual Christmas raffle to raise money for Rainbows children's hospice is now finished for another year.

After a week of selling raffle tickets in Waitrose to raise money for the Rainbows children's hospice, it was fitting that Saturday saw Rotary President Jackie selling one of the last tickets of the week. Over the week, over 3000 tickets were sold and the winning ticket was drawn on Tuesday by Jo, one of the Waitrose staff. The lucky winner was informed on Wednesday and presented with the prize of a £250 Waitrose voucher on Thursday.

Once again, we were delighted with the result and would like to thank Lutterworth Waitrose for allowing us to use their premises (and supply us with hot coffee) and also to once again thank the people of Lutterworth district for their generosity.
