Rotarians from across our District visited District 9350 in South Africa last November. Various hosts around the District hosted us from as far apart as Cape Town, through Hermanus ( famous for whale watching,) to Swellendam to the east and back again to Heiderberg near Cape Town.
Highlights included going up Table Mountain overlooking Cape Town where the group was greeted by an electrical storm which caused a few people to literally have their hair stand on end (see photo) Also visited Tereo school where the choirs sang Happy Birthday to one of our group, Paul Hunt from Northampton West. Heiderberg Rotary club has a literacy project there.
