Celebrating the talents of vocalists and instrumentalists across Great Britain & Ireland
Young people can share their gift of song or mastery of a musical instrument in Rotary’s Young Musician competition.
Young Musician Competition 2026-27
Participants get the chance to experience performing on a public stage and receive feedback from experienced judges, plus it offers a great chance for future collaboration with fellow musicians.
Please note the following:-
- Entrants are both vocalists and instrumentalists.
- All information regarding accompaniment, instruments and electrical equipment can be found in the information pack, on this page
- All entries must come via Clubs to compete in the District Final.
- Timings:- We allow up to 4 mins for junior, 6 mins for intermediate and 8 mins for senior competitors, both instrumental and vocal. Categories for ensembles compete as combined age groups and these have been set at 8 mins per ensemble. Cluster and national finals allow 13 minutes.
Club competitions completed during August to September 2026. Entries to District Round to organiser by 1st January 2027. District Final 23rd January 2027 at Uppingham Community College (TBC)
