David is a retired senior RAF Officer who also worked for BAE Systems as a Project Director for 10 years before he retired. He is an Information Systems Engineer who specialized in the provision of IT solutions for aeronautical engineering and supply chain requirements. In the twilight of his career he worked in the US on the F35 project and helped to deliver its Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS pronounced Alice). Shortly after retirement he joined Rotary and has subsequently served three terms as Club President. In addition, he completed three years as an Assistant Governor prior to becoming District Governor of D1070 during its Centenary Year (2023/2024). Concomitantly , he served as a Director on the recently established RGB&I Board from 2022 to 2025.
Married to Carol (also a Rotarian) he lives in Northamptonshire and is a member of the Kettering Huxloe Rotary Club. He is currently the District Team Lead for Youth Services.
