Rotary & Children in Ireland: Supporting LINN DARA Centre.

LINN DARA Approved Centre provides acute, emergency and specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health services on a tertiary basis.
Rotary will build a relaxing orchard with fruit trees & bushes, raised beds for herbs for children and staff.

The Rotary Clubs of Dublin CentralDublin No1 and Dublin Fingal have joined up to support this very worthwhile cause.

·       Acute / Emergency Psychiatry Beds (14 Beds)
·       Specialist Eating Disorder Beds (8 Beds)

Rotary will implement three projects at LINN DARA during 2022:

Project 1:
Creating an orchard with meandering path to explore its beauty

Project 2:
Moving the school garden shed to new location and build raised healing herb bed.

Project 3

Refreshing, renovating & painting the Family Apartment
LINN DARA has a three-bedroom apartment on the grounds to allow families which come from afar to stay and visit their children. The appartment is in need of a refresh, new paint & some homely touches and more to serve as a welcoming interim home.
