Kenya Water Projects

Dublin Fingal Rotary has been a consistent supporter of Light of Masai, the charity through which a dedicated woman, Elaine Bannon, has transformed the lives of the people of the Rombo area of Kenya.

Most recently, we have supported Project Ciara, which created wells and water pipelines to bring clean drinking water to dozens of villages and communities in and around Rombo. 

We also supported the building of two sand-dams in Rombo, each of which is delivering clean water and also transforming the landscape, by acting as the catalyst for oases of green in an other wise arid area.

The club has also supported major Rotary Ireland projects, combining wells and rainwater harvesting to differnet parts of rural Kenya.
