Supporting Disaster Relief: District Nepal Flood Appeal

Following the devastating floods in Nepal, the Rotary community across Ireland has mobilized to deliver urgent international relief.

Rotary District Nepal Flood Appeal:

  • The initial District-wide target of €20,000 has been successfully reached, driven by an overwhelming response from the majority of clubs. While our club contributed the requested initial €500 donation, several clubs contributed even larger sums to accelerate aid efforts.
  • Raised funds are being channeled directly into critical aid, divided between relief projects spearheaded on the ground by a local Rotary Club in Nepal and vital emergency shelter kits supplied by ShelterBox.
  • Recognizing the scale of the crisis and ongoing humanitarian needs, the District has formally doubled its fundraising target. In solidarity, our Club Council has unanimously approved an additional contribution of €750, bringing Dublin Fingal’s total direct support for the appeal to €1,250.

We extend our sincere thanks to all Rotarians and partners involved in coordinating this rapid, high-impact relief operation.
